FILTHY GORGEOUS!!

Today's workout is called the Filthy Fifty. This one is fun!! If you're unfamiliar with the movements, the CrossFit website has instructionals on most of them...take a gander!

For time:
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

At the time of this posting, there was no scaled workout on Brand X. Perhaps later in the day.

Q's results:
Holy crap that was hard...and I almost met Pukey tonight. But I got thru it without scaling it (except for the double unders, I did regular jump ropes) and completed the entire workout in 24:57. I actually fell down afterwards and two people came up to me and asked if I was OK. Bridget finished in about 27 minutes, she rocked the house!!! And then she fell down next to me and we just lay there trying to breathe. This one is a smoker!!!

Where do you find time to workout dude!!!??? You must have 10 different web sites....couldn't find you on Face Book. Keep up the good job...you're certainly an inspiration to many people!!! CROSS FIT GO!

Hey brother. I'd scale it by decreasing reps. I did the "Filthy Fifty" last week and it was a smoker. It's up there with the 300 workout, except all body weight. Sweet program.

This looks like fun (I'm deranged, LOL). I don't have access to a kettlebell or a box to jump on. Hopefully brand X has a scale for those two that eliminates them...if not..what should I sub?

Phew! That was a tough one, but I liked it! I scaled it by doing 30 reps each (except pull-ups - I only did 15 of those since I had a swim workout planned afterward).

I think my legs must be weaker than I thought! For box jumps, I only managed about 8, then switched to jump up step down, and ultimately to step up step down. I think I may need to find a shorter box until my legs get a little stronger.
